Empowering youth through comprehensive development initiatives
Our programs combine youth development for skills acquisition and youth leadership for active participation in sustainable development implementation.
Capacity Development is staggered following leadership development stages. Entry points to the programme could be at any level taking into account the youth's pre-existing skills. An extensive programme for capacity development will be developed to build leadership competencies through targeted interventions.
Young people with leadership potential are identified through need assessment to establish skills gaps. We work with those demonstrating basic leadership qualities to help them progress to future leadership roles.
Materials developed with youth participation to ensure relevance to their needs and context. These include workplace inclusion guides, work etiquette resources, and leadership development materials tailored for organizational and community settings.
Leaders from public, private, and political sectors mentor youth in leadership programs. We facilitate work placement opportunities in local government, national government, corporate settings, and international organizations for experiential learning.
We facilitate global networks and support access to national, regional, and global networks. Young leaders participate in youth development-specific networks as well as business, politics, and media networks.
Our two-pronged approach works with societal leaders to create youth leadership programs while building capacity of youth leaders to advocate effectively in youth engagement and development issues.
Working with leaders in society, public and private sectors to create programs for youth leadership and mentorship opportunities for young leaders.
Promoting changes in society, public systems, and private sector to create enabling environments for youth, especially youth with disabilities and young women, to take on leadership responsibilities.
Building capacity of youth leaders to effectively advocate for youth engagement and development issues in policy-making processes.
Economically empowering youth, especially young women, to ensure their economic independence in society. This addresses early forced marriages, high HIV prevalence, and unemployment rates.
Providing technical and vocational training to equip youth with marketable skills for employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Offering business development services, mentorship, and access to microfinance for young entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses.
Teaching financial management, savings, investment, and credit management to ensure sustainable economic independence.
